As we all are aware we haven't seen Diagon Alley to it's full extent in canon. We know that it's behind The Leaky Cauldron, and accessed from Charring Cross road. We also know that it's also an extremely large shopping hub where most witches and wizards in the UK do their shopping. For the sake of accommodating Euphoria Lane, we're going to assume that Diagon Alley branches off into numerous other streets and access ways. Like Knockturn Alley, Euphoria branches off of the main Diagon Alley. It accommodates shoppes and businesses, but more importantly it accommodates living spaces for the city bred witch or wizard.
The buildings are owned by various real estate entrepreneurs. For the sake of keeping sane each building will only have 10 flats, with varying room counts, prices, accommodations, and histories. We've arranged it so that hopefully players will be able to entertain the possibilities that come with each individual location.
Note 1: Keep in mind that we'll be assuming that 1 wizarding building comes with various styles of flats. Photographing and giving floor plans to your character's abode is entirely up to you so long as it meets room, bath, and general descriptions given.
Note 2: Assume all flats have one fireplace connected to the floo network.
Note 3: You can also add a stand-alone flat above one or shoppes. You will need to create the flat from scratch, with bedrooms, bathrooms, quirks, etc. Don't be shy!
212 Euphoria Lane is an aesthetically pleasing apartment building on the inside and out. The rent is tentatively the norm for flats in the area. They're recognized for their custom enchanted ceilings mentioned in all of their ads. Depending on the tenant's preference ceiling enchantments range from simple high ceilings, to various weather and sky-scapes that reflect the day outside or vibes in a single room. One thing, of course, that they conveniently leave out of flat adverts is the building's habit of relocating flats.
It's not uncommon that tenants find the door to their flat on the left of the corridor when they leave, and then find it to the right when they return. Though it's rare to find a flat on an entirely different floor than their accustomed, it still happens from time to time. This particular building quirk has been labeled by the Wizard Housing Association as a side effect to the custom ceiling enchantments as well as their basic building charms of heating, cooling, and plumping. The landlord, Chancy Davenport, is relatively pleasing when he's around - which is also very rare.
- 65 galleons a month - 4 levels - No lift (View) - No pets allowed - Strict refurbishing rules - 9 resident house elves - Personally enchanted ceilings
• Flat 4A - Available as of 5th April 1 bedroom, 1 full bath, kitchen, sitting room
• Flat 4B - Available 2 bedroom, 1 full bath, kitchen, sitting room
215 Euphoria Lane is a building crammed between two other apartment complexes. From the outside it looks extremely out of place and virtually "squished." Thankfully for well placed expansion charms the interior doesn't suffer from its location. Defying the laws of muggle architecture this little apartment complex offers some of the more "affordable" lets on Euphoria Lane.
Unfortunately, residents have been known to complain about doxies, and chizpurfles during the appropriate seasons. Despite modern marvels of magic, pipes still clank when the weathers cold and heating charms have a tendency to fizzle out after two weeks. The landlord is Mr. Edington, a plump looking man who's always munching on something. Being that he doesn't live in the area he proves very hard to get a hold of until you're behind on your rent.
- 50 galleons a month - 4 levels - No lift (view stairs) - Pets allowed - Unfurnished
• Flat 4A - Available Studio flat, 1 full bath, kitchen (Lrg space)
This building complex is located in a small courtyard space and is neighbored by a few commercial properties (Walster's Books, Moon & Sun Cafe, Inglestone Crystals, Zaffing Photography, and various vendors who rotate throughout the week). An attractively placed building complex, 220 Euphoria Lane has made a point to uphold a "sense of style."
Their flats and corridors are clean and well taken care of. Heating and cooling charms are exceptionally in tip top condition and the plumbing is ace. The only real problem is that the entire courtyard is frequently visited by Ashwinders. Why? No ones particularly sure, but random fires have been known to startle residents. Poor Ms. Fannington, the landlord, does everything in her power to appease her tenants when there are "incidents." Needless to say she's frequently sending gift baskets, and apology notices.
224 Euphoria Lane was once the location of a large law firm, but the building was refurbished in 1992 into a classy apartment building. Not only is their building one of the finest architectural beauties on Euphoria Lane but it's also one of the most reliable. They're frequently spraying for magical pests, as well as keeping their wards and charms up to date. They include a 24 hour door service (Day desk run by Donald S. Night desk run by Donald Q. npc info), and 17 resident house elves tend to any task tenants ask of them. Landlord - Mr. Abertill is rarely seen. Door men handle all complaints.
The most frequented complaint is that of Barrister Gimbly. The ghost of Teddy Gimbly still roams freely through the building, and makes frequent visits with tenants. He's a boastful sort of ghost that'll happily recite his four hour autobiography to anyone who'll let him. He makes sure to include everything from birth in Yorkshire to his death in 1943. He died at the age of 98 right in the lobby from a carelessly accio'ed knitting needle (still lodged in his ear). Though some might be able to stand his chatter it's his intrusive nature that gets on their nerves. He's commonly floating through walls at very inopportune times. Many residents have made a point to put a ward in their washrooms.
- 70 galleons a month - Pets allowed - 3 levels - No Lift (view stairs) - Door Man - 17 resident house elves - Strict refurbishing rules - Enchanted self cleaning floors
• Flat 3B - Available 3 bedrooms, 1 full bath, 1 half bath, kitchen, sitting room
228 Euphoria Lane is strategically placed between a Bobbin Apothecary and the Red Books Publishing office. The tenants are privileged to such services as a 24 hour door man (Day desk - Toby R. Night desk Stephen C. npc info) and 23 resident house elves who make their rounds where asked. The landlord, Darla Wash is very lenient on refurbishing rented spaces, and is more than willing to help with paperwork where adding additional rooms and building enchantments are concerned.
The only down side to this otherwise fab living arrangement is the buildings slight “quirk.” About 15 years ago a young wizard, Augustus Gunst, had a spell malfunction that's left the building scarred for life. Though the story of what exactly he was working on changes frequently, one of his failed attempts was so incredibly potent that when the spell backfired it left behind an irremovable enchantment. Three times a day (7AM, 3PM, and 11PM) the building has itself what feels to be "earthquakes." Lasting anywhere from 2 minutes to 20, these "shakes" have a tendency to disturb residents, who frequently complain about having to clean up after an episode.
- 60 galleons a month - Small pets allowed - 5 levels - Lift (view lift) - Door Man - 23 resident house elves - Enchanted self cleaning floors

234 Euphoria Lane is one of the notably taller buildings in Euphoria Lane. Standing six levels tall, the building certainly prizes itself on "class." Though rent is relatively high, the owner, Olga Longfellow, assures her tenants it's a decent price to pay for such luxury. They're one of few Euphoria Lane apartment complexes that have an operating and well maintained swimming pool and spa. The building is also home to 6 well behaved house elves (one for each level). Unfortunately, unlike other buildings, these house elves are considered "the best of the best" and their services are charged an extra 10 galleons a week.
Aside from the rather "posh" feel of the place, the building doesn't particularly advertise the fact that they do harbour the likes of Borely (npc info). Borely is a poltergeist who's background is typically unknown, but his presence is very hard to overlook. He's believed to reside in the empty wine cellar and is particularly only listens to the landlady...when she's around. Though it's not uncommon for tenants to poltergeist ward their flats, he always seems to find a way around, over, or through them.
- 75 galleons a month - 6 levels - Lift (View) - Pets allowed - Strict refurbishing rules - 6 rental house elves (10 galleons a week for use) - Community pool/spa (View)
239 Euphoria Lane is the most fashionable building to live in. Tenants notice that the upkeep is pristine, and there is never any riff-raff hanging around the place. Each level has a sitting area, meant for the tenants to get to know one another without having to invite them into their flats. These areas have also been known to have "block parties" for holidays or whenever the widowed landlady, Acantha Merryweather, feels like it. That is to say: often.
239 boasts the friendliest and most attentive landlord on the Lane. She lives in the first apartment on the first level, and she is available at all hours, night or day, to make your flat the best flat it can be. She can be a little obsessive-compulsive, which is an understatement. Upon move-in, Merryweather will stop by several times during your move to see if you need help, bring a high-fiber "Welcome to 239!" gift basket ("It's good for your colon, dear!"), and give you furniture advice that she will heavily persuade you to take or there could be consequences. Use of her 12 house elves is included in the rent, but be warned: you will come home to find your furniture re-arranged with notes regarding your Chi. Merryweather is extremely nosy, but she means well. You will probably be invited to dinner at her meticulously decorated flat. Oh, and your rent MUST be in exact change.
- 53 galleons, 4 sickles, 1 knut a month - 5 levels - Lift & stairs (View) - Pets allowed (5 galleons pet rent for small animals, 10 galleons for anything larger than a cat) - Strict refurbishing rules - 12 house elves (free of charge) - Sitting areas on every floor

Many shoppe owners have set up flats above their shoppes for living and breathing work, and sometimes they've rented this flats out to help with their own rents. Some are only for lease, some can be bought. Perks of the flat depend on each occupant. Decor, house elves, size, enchantments, ghosts, poltergeists, and problems are all up to the player. • 137A- Above The Zen of Art - Charlie Weasley 2 Bedroom, 1 bath, kitchen/dining room, sitting room, small balcony • Quirks include: he colour of the upper and lower levels of the exterior of the building is NEVER the same - the tenants two years ago botched a charm that affected only the outside and Anya and Angus never bothered to fix it. The landlords are very redecoration friendly, but all costs must come at the expence of the tenant and no major remodeling (i.e. knocking out a wall or a set of windows) can be done. The mirror in the bathroom is unmoveable - stuck on with a permanent sticking charm when the building was last renovated in 1992. The building has a narcoleptic House Elf attached to it, also a result of the last renovation. Leased in six month increments. • Quirks include: All hardwood floors except in the bathrooms, utitlity room, and kitchen, which are tile. Floors and windows are self-cleaning. Security and privacy wards. Mr Wheelwright, the ghost of the original owner of the house hangs around the storage shed, and insists on straightening up after anything is taken out or used. He tends to get angry if you interfere with his system, so watch out! The ghost of Little Amelie is confined to the Conservatory. She likes cats, and will tell anyone who is in the room long enough with her (and who pays attention to her) about all the cats that have come through the house since she was born there in 1846. A poltergeist lives in the utility room, and locks the door just at the precise moment that you need something, and doesn't unlock it unless you sing to it. The decorative knob on the ground floor stair banister likes to answer "no" to any question asked in its vicinity, and the mirrors on the first floor all sound like Zsa Zsa Gabor.

• 421 Euphoria Lane - Penelope Clearwater Two story house with a basement and attic. Full-sized kitchen, breakfast nook, dining area, sitting room, 2.5 bathroom, 3 bedrooms (balcony off of the master bedroom, one guest bedroom and the extra has been converted into a music room). • Quirks include: A staircase that periodically decides to turn into a slide, a very judgmental talking mirror in the guest bathroom, privacy charms, walk-in closet (in the master bedroom) that likes to rearrange clothes and anything else that’s in there, and a poltergeist named Rufus who generally inhabits the basement but sometimes likes to come upstairs and generally be unpleasant and disruptive. However, he tends to serve as type of guard dog against intruders, so he isn’t completely useless.

* Pets allowed - Means all your furry friends are welcome.
* Small pets allowed - Generally only means small animals. Dogs generally frowned upon.
Quick Map: As of right now you're just viewing a "section" of Euphoria that holds our resident buildings. Assume the lane continues both to the west and northeast for quite some time. Also pretend the order of buildings makes sense. Be aware that as we add buildings to accommodate more characters and scenarios the map will be adjusted as would be appropriate.
Though it's not necessary at this time you may place holds on flats should you think it necessary. Comment to this post to do so.
